GIDWebhosts Status: Alpha II

The list of shared / virtual web hosting plans is ready at GIDWebhosts.

Progress on the web site has been slow, I must admit. Still, I have been unusually focused developing this site. For the last few days, I struggled mostly with the Javascript stuff -- I was never really interested in the language before to ever figure it out.

Anyway, I am happy with how the site is coming along.

Now with "Comparison Shopping" even...

In case you missed it on the web page, you can now compare up to 4 different web hosting plans at a time.

GIDWebhost Algorithm News

The general algorithm ranking these web hosting plans is only taking a quarter of the available data (values) into consideration at this time. I have the new ranking script ready but it requires some changes to the database table before I can implement (upload) it.

Meanwhile, I can't believe they (web host) are offering as much as 200,000 MB of disk space and 3,200,000 MB (or 3.2TB) of bandwidth traffic allocation / month for just $9.95 a month! Amazing... :)

I can imagine it will sit at No.1 for quite a while!
